Paul Hope Awards
A special award is given each year for outstanding work and achievement in fulfilling Phab’s aims.
The Paul Hope Award is organised by National Phab.
This annual award is in memory of the late Paul Hope.
Paul Hope was Phab Club Services and Development Officer based at Phab head office during the 80’s and early 90’s.
A member/volunteer of Chester Adult Phab, Lynne is nominated for the award this year in 2017.
The award is presented to person(s) deemed to have excelled in fulfilling Phabs aim to promote and encourage people of all abilities to come together on equal terms, to achieve complete inclusion within the wider community.
On Thursday 5 October 2017, Lynne attended an award ceremony at the House of Lords in London with guests Wendy a member of Chester Phab Club and Lynne’s sister Cathy, (a sponsor of our club). The Baroness Thomas of Winchester MBE also attended this event.
