Chester Adult Phab is involved with SkillShare. SkillShare matches local business people and other professionals who want to volunteer their skills, with suitable voluntary and community groups that require their services.
SkillShare provides a simple yet structured way for businesses to give something back to the community through skills-based volunteering.

Chester Adult Phab Club are proud to announce there were a runner up prize winner in the inaugural Cheshire West and Chester Council Adult Safeguarding Awards – October 2013
We were up against strong competition ie Cheshire Centre for Independent Living (CCIL)
The awards were to acknowledge, celebrate and recognise good practice in organisations, teams, individual workers or volunteers with regards to supporting and protecting vulnerable adults from abuse, harm or exploitation.
The partner agencies on Cheshire West and Chester Adult Safeguarding Board aim to prevent abuse where possible and act quickly and appropriately where it does happen.
As successful nominee’s four members of Chester Adult Phab Club, Mark, Denise, Kate and Lynda were invited to attend a celebratory event on the 1 October 2013 in The Civic Hall, Ellesmere Port.
We received a commemorative certificate plus a box of biscuits.
Thanks to Phab Head Office who encourage and promote Adult Safeguarding in all Phab Clubs.
